Last updated 2026-09-11. Short version: this site collects nothing itself, and uses Google Analytics to count visits. There are no ads.

What Storage Price Index collects

Nothing of its own. The site is static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, uses no local storage, and has no accounts, no forms that submit data, and no payment of any kind. If you email the contact address, that email is handled by the mail provider and used only to answer you.

This page, and every other page describing the site rather than its prices, loads nothing from any third party whatsoever — no advertising code and no analytics. The price pages load Google Analytics, described below.

Google Analytics

The pages showing prices carry Google Analytics, which counts visits so it is possible to see which figures people actually use. It records the page you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you used, and it sets its own cookies to tell one visit from the next. It is not used to identify you, it is not combined with anything else, and nothing on this site asks who you are.

You can opt out of it entirely with Google's own browser add-on, and Google describes what it does with the data at policies.google.com.

Your server logs

Like any website, the host that serves these pages records standard request logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser string) for security and operation. These are the hosting provider's ordinary logs, are not used to profile visitors, and are not combined with anything else.

Advertising

This site currently shows no advertising and loads no advertising code. If that changes, this page will be updated to describe exactly what is set and how to control it, before any ad is served.

Children

This is a storage-pricing reference with no content directed at children and no collection of personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
